Hey girl in the strobing light. | |
Robyn - Cry When You Get Older I have been playing this song for about the entire week. I find there to be something incredibly bittersweet about it. To me it acknowledges that life isn't always easy. Especially at a younger age it can seem bleak and overwhelming. Yet as you get older you start to realize how much you've overcome and looking back you wonder why you were so worried in the first place. I'd love to just go back and tell a younger self to have as much fun as possible and enjoy every minute of it. At 22 I have far more responsibilities, worries and stress, and although I may not literally 'cry now that I'm older' sometimes I feel like I have reason to. Sometime at the end of the summer I will have completed University (only have a final project to finish and present) and of course my lease will be up at the end of August so there are decisions to be made. Where do I move? What jobs do I apply for? What the hell do I really want to do with my life? Honestly, even after 4 years of University I'm still confused and unsure.
I miss the days when the biggest decision we needed to make was Bulbasaur, Squirtle or Charmander?… | |

That is one catchy song! Life
That is one catchy song! Life isn't supposed to be easy. If it was, all of us would be living better than... Luxury! I don't like having stress as a young age. It's not worth it. When I see my classmates doing all of these extreme studies/etc without relaxing one bit, I question them D:!
But you know, when time comes, you'll know the answers to your questions. Keep working and don't give up :)! Congratulations on completing university this summer :D! Well- by the end of this summer :O! You'll figure something out.
I still have issues trying to figure out what pokemon to pick D:! I always went with Charmander. I always thought fire = power. and leaf = healing. and water = ..... I don't know o__O.
I do plan on going back sometime in the future- but probably not with my parents. My mom always says that she plans us to go "next year" every year, but it never happens and I just don't believe her anymore. D:
Maybe Apple planned to give retailers a "fixed" amount of their products so it'll seem like it is in demand. There's an up side and a down side to this. The up- it attracts more people to buy it because with iPads out of stock, consumers will think it's the best thing ever and it's a must have item. The down-- if people don't like it, word spreads easily.
Trying to gather your things with a help of your iPod is a mission! D:! At least it's better than nothing ^__^!
Take care (:
This is actually the first
This is actually the first time that I've heard this song, but it's nice!
I know it's stressful, not knowing what you want to do or what you're going to do. But I think you will figure it out in time! :) Maybe if you stop worrying about it for a little while, it will all come to you? It will all work out in the end, as cheesy as that may sound, heh.
I'm just going to point out
I'm just going to point out that that is still a really hard decision in my life -- what starter Pokemon to use?! Just saying. ^^
--------------------------------------------------------------
It's from all those Edgar Allan Poe poems, like "The Raven." He was in love with his cousin and called her Lenore and Annabel Lee in his writings. Her real name was Virginia, but I guess the other two names are easier to rhyme things with. -lol-
I honestly think it's a power issue. Like, people feel the need to flex their control over people and make them do stupid tasks that they could just do themselves. My goal is to find a place to work where the boss is NOT like that.
Yes I did order a bouncy house! It was a blast. We had my dog up there and everything. She didn't like it very much. Hee. But it was a super fun time, and I had a blast. The bouncy house just added a little extra bit. ^^
That song is really nice - I
That song is really nice - I totally agree with your description of it! It's a little sad in a few places :( but has a nice beat :)
In a few weeks (once I've finished blogging about the random stuff I've found in my room) I'll blog about the trip :) So you'll see pictures soon :) hehe
You took Artificial intelligence? How was it? What exactly is it? From my understanding, it seems REALLY COOL! and something that I'd be really interested in doing. From the descriptions of the courses I have to take first year, I figure I can probably miss one, maybe two of them since I took this college course :) It would be awesome if I could :) haha
I was just thinking about
I was just thinking about this.. well the thing is that I don't feel like I am stressed. But I have WAY more responsibilities than, say, two years ago. So does that still sort of make me feel "stressed out"? Hmpf. Being an adult is complicated.
